This is my favorite place to eat in Fairfield. The food is fantastic and the owners are wonderful people! I love the freshness of the vegetables in the salads. I am always greeted with a smile and kindness. Wonderful people, wonderful food!

In my opinion, coming from a foodie/ex-manager of New York City Restaurants/classically-trained chef/world traveler....This is by far the VERY BEST restaurant in Fairfield. I alternate between multiple dishes and sometimes just come for Turkish Coffee...But compared to what else Fairfield has to offer.. A++

Its really 4-1/2 stars! Have been here many times and the food is always fresh, flavorful and plentiful. The hummus, falafel, babaganoush and other entres are excellent. I have not received any item that I did not like. We usually order extra items to take out with us for the next day. Definitely recommend!

I started working in Fairfield a few months ago and have been wanting to try this place for some time. I’m sorry I hadn’t sooner! The lamb kabobs were off-the-hook! Homemade lentil soup - and pita bread.... I’ll be back as a regular. Small atmosphere and family run authentic food. Loved it!

Falafels are handmade here from scratch with fresh herbs, they even grind the chickpeas to make the binding flour. All salad items were super fresh. I came here with my son and we ate every mouth full! Friendly service, definitely worth a visit!!

This was my first visit to the Istanbul Grill. I've always heard their pizza was great but I was traveling through Fairfield early, so I tried breakfast. The Sultan Skillet was amazing !! Diced Gyro Meat, Black Olives, Tomatoes with Oregano and crumbled Feta Cheese over Hashbrowns and topped with 2 Eggs. I enjoyed every morsel.

Pre ordered the deep dish pizza and it was incredible. Couldn't finish it myself, and reheated it was just as delicious. Can't wait to order it again.

Food was amazing! The chicken kabob had a lovely marinade and was very moist. The hummus is well seasoned. Pita was fresh and warm. Staff was very friendly Would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

The service is very one point. The breakfast is good but on the expensive side. I wish they would offer specials or cut the prices down on he breakfast because it would make the place fantastic.

Chicken kebab meal is excellent. Probably the best grilled chicken in town! Served wIth fresh pitas, hummus, grilled peppers, and rice.

This was by far the very best meal I've had in a long while❗️(that I didn't prepare) .Seldom do I sit down for a very well prepared meal for lunch. Usually, I will just travel with snack foods. You know I'm loving it if I'm eating with my eyes closed❗️ This was dang perfect❗️

Wonderful food. If you're a vegetarian, try the vegetarian falafel combo plate (I think that's the name of it). I usually order it with an additional side order of warm pita bread. One of my favorite meals in Fairfield.

Great Turkish in Fairfield, Iowa. I was expecting Döner Kebab, but I don't think they had it. They had Döner Kebab stands all over Germany since millions of Turkish people live there. That was the only thing I missed.

Cute little restaurant. The food is amazing, I highly recommend the lamb kebab and the baba ganoush. Even the plain grilled chicken my toddler had was delicious. They also have a lentil soup that my husband loved and he usually doesn't like lentils.

I love their menu selection and always enjoy the food!

I have been to Istanbul Grill a total of 3 times. (And enjoyed 1 dish). I am disappointed in this place because the food is wildly mediocre, it is always cold in there, the couple that own it get progressively more rude with each visit and the food is pretty bland. I wouldn't waste my money here if I were you. I would suggest Revelations, Noodle House, India Cafe, or even George's. Anywhere but here.

Excellent food and friendly service! If you are looking for a change of pace for dinner this is a great option. Very authentic. Will go back next time I'm in town.

Had a horrible experience there.

Last time I went this place was amazing!! Going again soon and can’t wait. This place has great food, the service when I went was great And the waitress was very talkative 💜 I’m so happy for this place and the Indian cafe because Mt pleasant has the same American restaurants and nothing healthy or different. I hope they stay forever because they offer all kinds of great different food. Even deep dish Chicago pizza. Yum 😋 service is amazing and your drink in never half empty. 💜

Lovely people and service. The food was delicious and tasted very authentic. I was even able to speak the very small amount of Turkish I know and about my adventures in Istanbul. It was a really lovely time.

Not from Fairfeild but i visit at least twice a year and eat here everytime! The owners are the service as well and they are attentive and we always have a great conversation. Ive had their breakfast, the owner made a personal mickey mouse pancake for my daughter, and the french toast was amazing. My go to is always the kebabs though. The house made hummus, with warmed pita, roasted red peppers and tomatoes, butter rice and chicken is divine! Before my meal i ordered lentil soup :) very good starter Definitely support this small business #ShopLocal
